Obtain all ordered lab results and place on chart before clinic begins. Update all charts as needed. Allergies should be clearly noted on the outside of the chart.3. All messages are to be read and reviewed daily and answered within 48 hours. Document and chart appropriately including INET messaging. Documentation in medical record (chart) and forms should be concise, objective, accurate and legible and include legal signature; first initial, last name, title.  4. Referrals are initiated and finished within a timely manner: Stat referrals within 24 hours, routine referrals within 14 days.  5.  Teaching patients and their families, including but is not limited to: aerosol treatments, diabetic training, and dressing changes.6. Preparing patients to be seen by the provider. Taking and documenting accurate vital signs, brief history and chief complaints. Patients are to be vitaled and taken to the exam room by the appointment time.7. Discharge patients, complete and document all orders from the provider. Sign the chart and verify that the provider has completed the encounter form.8. Administer all needed immunizations, antibiotics and oral medications ordered by the provider. Ensure all medication containers are dated and initialed when opened.9. Explain all prescriptions written by the provider to the patient. Make sure the patient understands the instructions & answer any questions they may have. If unable to answer a question ask the provider.  10.   Aid the provider in minor surgical procedures. Start IV's as ordered and maintain IV fluids as ordered by the provider. (I.V. certified LPN's only).11.  Be familiar with department policies and procedures including but not limited to current changes in policy12.  Stock exam rooms each day, either in the morning or afternoon. Advise the supervisor of any items needed to maintain stock levels in the storeroom.13.  Maintain treatment and exam rooms in neat, orderly and operational conditions. Clean up minor spills and notify housekeeping of areas needing to be cleaned. Notify supervisor of spills or any safety hazards, including unsafe equipment and any equipment needing repair.14.  Float to any department in the El Rio system as needed or directed by a supervisor.15.  Willing to do any task assigned that is within the LPN scope of practice.16.  Earn 5 CEU's per year or attend 16 hours of in-service outside of El Rio that has been approved by the supervisor. A combination of the above two may be used. Manager or supervisor must approve all in-service requests in advance.17.  Precept new employees and students.18.  Learn the Health Center computer system and enter data as required. This includes but is not limited to making appointments for patients, answering notes from patients, printing labels and copies of referrals.19.   Assist co-workers when there is a need.20.  Serve on a Health Center committee, and comply with facility policies and procedures including but not limited to those addressing HIPAA and Compliance.21.    When patients no-show for a scheduled appointment, send card to lat known address or call patient. If the card is returned, place in the chart22.   When assigned provider is out of the clinic, check provider's mail on a daily basis. Answer al messages and request for refills. Check on labs and discuss with another provider to decide on treatment if needed.23.   Check provider's lab on a daily basis. Call for chart for all abnormal labs. Notify patients of normal lab results as directed by provider, document in chart. 24.  Insure that items needing the providers initials are "red stamped." Pull the chart and place items on chart.  Check providers charts daily to ensure items are being signed and placed in charts in a timely manner.25.  All forms for the patients being sent to lab or x-ray should be labeled accurately. Make sure lab and x-ray forms are filled out correctly with proper diagnosis and that the x-ray referral is complete before the patient leaves the department. Obtain samples for lab in proper tubes according to patient's insurance. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Details:Brainlab, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Field Service Engineer to install and support its Image Guided Surgery (IGS) product portfolio in the Tucson, AZ area.RESPONSIBILITIES:Routinely communicate with the Account Manager in your region discussing each other's schedule, customer situations, open sales projects, etc. Identify and refer sales leads Conduct on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate the use of products and services to increase the frequency and quality of IGS product usage Direct CT and radiology staff in performing necessary scans prior to surgery Provide on-site guidance and assistance to physicians and OR personnel during surgery maximizing IGS efficiency and usage Lead installations at new and existing customer sites Educate / train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of IGS products and services Develop and conduct training programs for hospital staff enabling them to implement in-house training Repair system hardware/software, perform preventative maintenance, and install software/hardware upgradesProvide telephone "hotline" support, investigating and resolving customer problems Act as primary customer liaison maintaining contact with customers assessing satisfaction, usage levels and working to increase revenue via the sale of service contracts, spare / wear parts, upgrades, etc Work closely with the Senior Application Consultants on market transparency and upgrade initiatives Maintain timely site visits and customer contact Utilize expertise to contribute to the quality improvement process by recommending product modifications Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote IGS products and services Keep abreast of developments regarding BrainLAB and competitive IGS products and services via ongoing training and individual research Perform other duties and responsibilities as requiredCommentsVisit us at: www.brainlab.com Brainlab Inc. is an EEO-AA employer.
